Meet the Management Team


Michael Barenboym, founder and CEO, has devised a plan for elevating the quality of cannabis consumption by purifying the smoke we consume. He wants to embrace the whole plant experience and create a low-cost alternative to vaping.
 
Michael graduated from the prestigious Moscow Institute of Technology with both a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering. After emigrating to the U.S. in 1989 he worked for medical device companies in senior engineering positions designing and developing heart assist devices and other life saving technologies. He founded Baren-Boym (baren-boym.com) medical device engineering and design company in 1997; co-founded Absolute Air Shafts, Inc. in 1999; Innovative Surgical, LLC in 2000; Wadsworth Medical Technologies, Inc. in 2006 and MB Medical in 2018.
 
Michael holds over 50 US and International patents in the medical device industry including cardiovascular, surgical, dental, and OB/GYN devices. He has developed and licensed many medical and consumer products, and received multiple design excellence awards.

Elizabeth Dost

COO

Elizabeth G. Dost, RN, serves as Weedgets COO, and is a senior executive with more than 25 years-experience in Boston’s medical market. She was the first nurse in Massachusetts to publicly advocate for the Humanitarian Use of Medical Marijuana, and has served as an Executive Consultant in Medical Cannabis to The Massachusetts Nurses Association, MedWell Health and Wellness, MariMed Advisors, Ardent, as well as a number of dispensary applicants since 2012.  Ms. Dost also advocates at the legislative level, testifying numerous times before both state and town governing bodies. 

Prior to Weedgets, Ms. Dost was Vice President and Executive Director of Guardian Hospice, a non-profit hospice company. Earlier, she served as CEO and President of Primary Health Services, Inc., a premier pediatric home care company, as CCO of Privatus; a private duty aftercare and eldercare service company, and was the Director of Clinical Services for West River Care, a skilled nursing home based hospice company.  Her clinical experience includes a decade of working in critical care.

Ms. Dost is a past Nominating Committee member of the American Cannabis Nurse Association.  As a former member of the Society for Cannabis Clinicians, she assisted them in starting their new Boston based New England Chapter which has been renamed ACS.  Beth is also the Clinical Director for the Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance (MPAA); and participates in Patients Out of Time, The Sacred Plant and is an sought after speaker on suffering and the impact of Cannabis on health and wellness. 

 Most notably, Elizabeth G. Dost RN, was awarded Ernst and Young, Entrepreneur of the Year in Healthcare, New England Region and is a member of their elite Alumni group.
